No!  We will teach you everything you need to know and start off on easy terrain so you can ease yourself into the experience.  You’ll have the opportunity to challenge yourself at something new and surprise yourself too!

Nope, we have that all covered for you.  Everyone will be provided with climbing shoes, helmet, harness and other technical climbing equipment.

If the weather prevents us from climbing outside we will head to a local indoor climbing gym as well participate in other indoor activities.

Every body, shape and size is capable of climbing. There will be women of all different levels of health, fitness and abilities in our retreats. Our guides will help support you to provide a safe and encouraging environment for you to participate at whatever level you are comfortable with.  You should be able to walk on easy hiking terrains for about 20 minutes to get to the climbing area.  After that, it’s all up to you!

This is an opportunity to have a weekend dedicated to yourself and your personal growth.  While it may be scary to go it alone, we promise you are in good company of other women on the same journey.  Please leave your family at home and let them miss you a bit!

Healthy, fresh foods help us feel our best and we ensure healthy plant based meals that will leave us feeling energized and nourished.  Dietary restrictions will be accommodate based on your input form.

As long as you have your doctor’s approval to attend and are feeling up to the challenge, we welcome women in any stage of their journey.

Nada. Zero. Zilch.  All you need to do is get to the retreat and all lodging, meals, climbing and other activities are included.

At this time you may attend a retreat once so that we can serve as many women as possible. 

Women over 21 and any stage of treatment or recovery from cancer are eligible.  Participants must apply online before the application date and participants are chosen at random.  Selections are made within 2 week of the application deadline and all applicants are notified of their status.

We keep it nice and cozy with 8-10 participants, not including guides, staff and volunteers.

Yes, all retreats have volunteer medical staff to provide education and information.  We do not offer direct medical care.

The majority of people will share rooms. There may be individual rooms available at some locations. If you have a specific concern about sharing a room with another person, please reach out to us and let us know.

Do I need to have climbing experience?

Do I need climbing gear or equipment?

Nope, we have that all covered for you.  Everyone will be provided with climbing shoes, helmet, harness and other technical climbing equipment.

What if it rains?

If the weather prevents us from climbing outside we will head to a local indoor climbing gym as well participate in other indoor activities.

Do I have to be athletic or have strong upper body strength to participate? What if I get scared and decide I don’t want to climb?

Can I bring my partner, friend or pet?

What kind of food/meals will be available? I have dietary restrictions.
